Morgan Cheatham, Bessemer
Morgan Cheatham is an investor with Bessemer in the New York City office where he focuses on healthcare, marketplaces, and enterprise software. He sourced investments in Hinge Health, Productboard, Abridge, Aspen RxHealth, Subtle Medical, and FOLX Health, where he sits on the board. He also helped lead the firm’s investment in Ginger and supports portfolio companies, Qventus and Groups. Morgan is also a Partner with First Close Partners, a fund of funds that backs venture funds owned by underrepresented managers.
Before joining Bessemer, Morgan worked at Goldman Sachs in the Consumer Retail and Healthcare Group in the Investment Banking Division. He also worked as a data scientist at Kyruus, a growth-stage healthcare company focused on patient access and provider data management. Morgan was accepted to medical school at age 17, Harvard Business School at age 21, and graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a degree in neuroeconomics.
Aneesha Mehta, Bain Capital
Aneesha joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2017 where she focuses on venture and growth stage investments in healthcare technology and services. Prior to Bain, Aneesha was a public equities investor at Fidelity Investments in Boston. At Fidelity, Aneesha led coverage of healthcare information technology, dental, diagnostic, and contract research organization companies. Aneesha graduated from Brown University with a degree in Science and Society.
Vic Lanio, Flare Capital Partners
Vic Lanio is a Principal at Flare Capital Partners. Prior to joining Flare Capital, Vic was a Product Strategy Manager at naviHealth, responsible for enterprise product strategy during the integration of legacy naviHealth, Curaspan and RightCare businesses. Vic joined naviHealth by way of Curaspan, where he worked on their successful strategic sale to naviHealth, a Cardinal Health company.
Previously, Vic was a manager at McKinsey & Company serving healthcare providers. Out of college, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Health Industries Advisory Practice, focusing on operational improvement, revenue cycle, and personalized medicine. Vic obtained his B.S. from Boston College, with majors in Physics and Finance. He also obtained his M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
